The ADC candidate for governor in Rivers picks Tonto Dikeh as his running mate

Tonte Ibraye, who is running for governor of Rivers State for the African Democratic Congress, has chosen popular actress Tonto Dikeh as his running mate.

Friday, the actress posted on Instagram that she was running for office and talked about what their government would do if they were elected next year.

When she was elected, she said that the government would put a lot of money into social protection and help young people.

She wrote, "I thank Mr. Tonte Ibraye, the African Democratic Congress Rivers State candidate for governor, for putting me forward as his running mate."

Dikeh said that their plan included "investing a lot in social protection, making a social value system for young people, and giving women more power in our system of government."

Others are "supporting small businesses and strengthening our traditional institutions so that they can be active players in the effort to give the good people of Rivers State sustainable development."

Dikeh, on the other hand, told the people of the state, especially the young people, to sign up and get a Permanent Voter Card so that they can vote in the election.
